The Global Village

We want the countries of the world to be able to display what is going on in their nation. This we are seeking to achieve through a Global Village integral to the Congress Exhibition in the same location as the conference (the ExCeL Congress Centre). It will be open from Monday 3 September to Wednesday 5 September.

Stand space allocation in the Global Village will be at the discretion of the Local Organising Committee and subject to special rates. Steps are in hand to contact overseas embassies to encourage them to assist and support inward missions to the UK. It is hoped that IMIA member bodies in the different countries will provide encouragement and perhaps a contact point.

Your National IMIA representatives can give you details of IMIA activities in your region and health informatics initiatives in your country.
