medinfo2001: The Organisation and People

Medinfo - the triennial world congress of health informatics - is held under the auspices of IMIA (International Medical Informatics Association).

The Congress is organised by an Organising Committee under the umbrella of the British Computer Society through its Health Informatics Committee.

An International Scientific Programme Committee is responsible for the content of the Scientific Programme of papers, posters, panels and workshops. It manages the formal refereeing process for papers and posters and structures the programme..

An International Editorial Committee edits the official proceedings.

The Congress is supported by a number of national and international organisations.
